Noah Lang has given former Napoli boss Antonio Conte another brutal treatment, explaining what has changed under Max Allegri. ‘He talks to me first…’
The Dutchman scored in a 3-0 Serie A win over Frosinone at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium this evening.
It was his first goal of the season and a fresh start after last season, when he joined Galatasaray on loan in January.
Speaking to the Italian press after the game, Lang did not hesitate to take a broader stance against his former coach, repeatedly criticizing and insulting Conte in the press.
Lang is still feuding with Conte

“Everyone knows I had a difficult season with another coach,” Lang told DAZN Italia.
“As I said before, I feel the confidence of this coach, I feel the confidence in me and I have to show that I work hard for the team every minute of the game.
“I need to improve a lot and be more fit, but there is a start and I hope to continue like this.”

What exactly has changed from Conte to Allegri, known for his rather defensive approach to his tactics?
“First of all, he talks to me, which is maybe something I missed last season,” smiled the winger.
“A coach who talks to me, tells me what I can do better, tells me what I’m doing well. It gives me a little more freedom on the field to work where I want, to find space, so it’s all different.”

Lang eventually made 27 competitive appearances for Napoli under Conte, registering one goal and two assists, but only nine of those were in the starting XI.
Conte left in the summer after two seasons, so when Allegri took over, Lang decided it was an opportunity for a fresh start.
