Hearts of Oak ended a three-match winless streak in the Ghana Premier League with a crucial 1-0 win over Port City FC at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday.

Despite the victory, head coach Nebojša Kapor was disappointed by the poor condition of the Legon pitch.
“It’s not our stadium, it’s the national stadium. Ghanaian football has serious problems with proper pitches,” Kapor said after the match.
The Serbian tactician’s words reflect growing frustration among coaches across the league with the quality of playing surfaces.
