EA Sports FC 27 has been on sale since September 25, and during the three-week period, the Serie A image inside the game looks familiar. Inter provide four of the league’s ten highest-rated players; Mike Maignan shares top spot with Lautaro Martinez and Nicolò Barella, with both Milan clubs playing under fictitious names again.
For Ultimate Team players, built around Italian football, this combination shapes how teams stack up and where the in-game currency goes.
How FC 27 Coins Fit in Serie A Ultimate Team
Coins are the currency that runs Ultimate Team. They are earned by playing matches, completing objectives and Squad Building challenges, and selling unwanted players on the transfer market, where EA keeps 5 percent of each completed sale as tax. Then it is spent on players, consumables and items needed to complete the squad.
Serie A teams have a structural advantage in this market. With the league’s best players spread across several clubs, strong chemistry is easy to find, and the backbone of Inter’s players covers defense, midfield and attack all at once. This also makes these cards some of the most sought after in the opening weeks FC 27 coins It carries the most weight for anyone trying to finish the Serie A side early.
In addition to the in-game economy, there is a coin market on third-party platforms such as LootBar, which sells currency for Ultimate Team on console and PC.
It is worth knowing the rules before spending. EA’s user agreement does not allow the trading of coins outside of the game, and the publisher has sanctioned accounts that have historically been associated with third-party money transfers. Players weigh this risk differently, but it’s part of the picture.

Why Inter and Milan look like Lombardia FC and Milano FC
For the third year now, both Milan clubs have no official names, badges or uniforms. Looks like Inter Lombardia FC, Milan Milano FC, Atalanta Bergamo Calcio. San Siro is also not in the game.
The reason is Konami. as This was reported by VGC when the arrangement began, Inter and Milan signed exclusive deals with eFootball, meaning the EA Serie A license did not apply to their branding. Player names and likenesses are covered by a separate FIFPRO contract, so Lautaro, Maignan and the rest still look and play as themselves.
There is good news for Italian fans. Appearing as Latium in previous editions, Lazio returns in full branding in FC 27. Currently, Gattuso’s team is in the first place. Series A scheduletheir timing is good.
What else is in FC 27?
EA has added the FUT Gallery to Ultimate Team, a collection that rewards players for completing sets of past and present player items. Career Mode features a redesigned transfer market with new negotiation tactics and player values that move with form. Grounds, a new social hub that expands the clubbing experience, is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
