Mathys Tel scored a sensational solo goal in the 87th minute to seal Tottenham’s dramatic 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The French striker showed a moment of individual brilliance, carrying the ball inside his own half to go after Mike Penders.
His remarkable effort capped a disastrous evening for Chelsea, who had already conceded the odd own goal and seen Cole Palmer sent off inside three minutes.
The win also ended Tottenham’s eight-year wait for a Premier League win at Stamford Bridge, with Roberto De Zerbi scoring a memorable finish for Xabi Alonso’s side.

With Tottenham 1-0 up late in the London derby, French forward Mathys Tel produced a moment of individual brilliance to put the contest out of reach in the 87th minute.
Picking up the ball deep inside his own half along the left touchline, the 21-year-old shrugged off Josh Acheampong before breaking into an explosive sprint.
Tel cut across the pitch past numerous defender challenges, drove to the edge of the box and unleashed a fierce low shot into the bottom left corner.
His stunning solo effort capped a dominant away performance from Spurs.

The breakthrough for Tottenham came in the 77th minute after a terrible mistake by Chelsea goalkeeper Mike Penders.
The 21-year-old Belgian, making his first Premier League start in place of the injured Emiliano Martínez, attempted a corner but inexplicably misjudged the flight and punched the ball back over his own line for a disastrous own goal.
Chelsea’s nightmare night was compounded three minutes later when star playmaker Cole Palmer was shown a second yellow card for a late challenge on Conor Gallagher, leaving the hosts down to ten men.
Tel’s world-class strike soon added to the Blues’ misery, handing Tottenham their first Premier League win at Stamford Bridge since April 2018.
