Roberto De Zerbi will give Tottenham Hotspur’s latest injury news ahead of the trip to Manchester United at his press conference on Friday.
Roberto De Zerbi has a number of sporting concerns ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to Manchester United at the weekend.
Spurs are yet to win the Premier League this season, but Lilywhites fans around the world will be hoping for change at Old Trafford on Saturday. De Zerbi is set to face the media on Friday and it will be during this press conference at Hotspur Way where he will provide the latest injury and fitness updates on the Italian squad.
The game against Michael Carrick’s side will come too soon for Xavi Simons and Wilson Odobert, who are not expected to return for several months due to ACL injuries sustained last season.

Mykhailo Mudryk picked up an ankle injury in training last month and will not be back until the end of October, while Pedro Porro was forced to withdraw from Spain’s Nations League camp last month with an injury against Aston Villa. The right-back is yet to return to full training but could return sometime in mid-to-late October.
Micky van de Ven, Jan Paul van Hecke and Dejan Kulusevski could be fit to face the Red Devils, although the two centre-backs returned to London early from the Dutch camp after picking up hand and toe injuries respectively.
Van de Ven’s hand was found by Luka Jovic and the Spurs captain was seen writhing in pain as he was sent off. Xavi, the head coach of the Dutch national team, said after the match: “It’s good, he was dizzy because of his finger. It’s not a big injury.”
Van Hecke also stepped on the foot of the Serbian player, but he did not notice it after the match. “He really wanted to try, but he was suffering a lot. That’s why we decided to take him off the list,” Xavi said.
“He tried to take part in recovery training. He tried again today, but he couldn’t touch the ball.”
Kulusevski is set to return after more than 500 days on the sidelines due to a serious knee injury. Milli.Az reports with reference to goal.az that the 26-year-old football player trained together with his teammates during the international break and actually participated in a friendly match at home. The 11v11 at Hotspur Way saw the senior team take on the under-18s and under-21s and was an important step in Kulusewski’s potential return.
All eyes will now be on Friday’s press conference with De Zerbi’s updates on seven Tottenham players.
