Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace predicted with three changes

We are watching this Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace game.

Matthias Jaissle and his players are trying to bounce back from consecutive defeats.

Newcastle United lost to Coventry and Aston Villa.

The new Newcastle United boss has now overseen four wins, two draws and three defeats in the first two months of the season.

Ahead of this weekend’s matches, Crystal Palace sit one point and three places below United.

Let us remind you that this was the game between “Newcastle United” and “Aston Villa”.

Hornicek, Thiaw, Botman, Hall, Lewis Miley, Gonzalez, Willock, Joelinton, Wissa, Barnes, Fernandez-Pardo

In Friday’s pre-match press conference, Matthias Jaissle gave a little more than usual on the injury/fitness issue.

Tino Livramento is now the only Newcastle United outfielder to be ruled out of Sunday’s matchday squad. Goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen will not appear either.

Joelinton wasn’t 100% fit when he started against Villa, but another week of training should bring him closer to being fair.

It looks like Anthony Elanga and Jacob Ramsey could make Monday’s 20-man squad, but calls for a spot on the bench as they build up their fitness.

The expectation is that the likes of Dan Burn, Amar Dedic and William Osula could start now if selected.

Matthias Jaissle also announced that Matias Fernandez-Pardo is doubtful for this game due to illness.

Here’s my prediction for Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace:

Hornicek, Dedic, Thiaw, Burn, Hall, Gonzalez, Lewis Miley, Joelinton, Wissa, Barnes, Osula

If my prediction is correct, this means three changes:

IN – Dedic, Burn, Osula

OUT – Willock, Fernandez-Pardo, Botman

I think Dedic will definitely come at right back if he is fit enough.

But if this change happens, I expect Lewis Miley to move into midfield alongside Nico and Joelinton. This should give United a more solid and physical presence than they have had of late.

I think people are going over Sven Bothman with their criticism, but with club captain Dan Burn ready back, he will come in and try to strengthen him at the back.

Matias Fernandez-Pardo has been thrown into the deep end due to injuries and even if possible, I’m sure Will Osula will replace him.
