Geovany Guenda has barely featured for Chelsea so far this season and that won’t change even after the international break.

Much of the talk at Chelsea heading into this international break was about Estevao. The winger has yet to make a Premier League start this season and it seems he is not happy about it.
There’s another winger in worse shape, although a report today claims he’s willing to persevere.
Geovany Guenda joined permanently from Sporting in the summer and, unlike Estevao, he didn’t even get a few minutes off the bench. He has just 27 all season.
Quenda is more than convinced that he should get more than his regular first team minutes
According to Football.London, the youngster has been told this will be the case and is prepared to be patient:
“The Portuguese wide man understands the situation he is in now; being a teenager, he is moving to a completely new country and league. According to sources close to the player, he is ready to be patient for the opportunity to present himself,” they wrote.
The same sources said Quenda was “calm”, knowing “regular first-team minutes will eventually come this season”.
But will they? Our front 3 is set and Estevao is the fourth choice. Later, Pedro Neto and Marco Palestra take their full-back positions. It will be really hard for Quenda to get more than substitute minutes.
In other news…
There have been plenty of international debuts around the world in the last 3 weeks and Chelsea are eyeing a player to make one of them.
Chelsea have a teenage defender to worry about – and a January loan move looks increasingly likely.
