Former Cabfix Ladies FC captain Hannah Quaye has signed a contract with Israeli side Bnot Tamra Sports Club, opening a new chapter in her football career.
The left-handed midfielder will represent the Tamra club until the end of the season, becoming the first Cabfix Ladies player to sign an international professional contract.
Quaye recently joined Clava Sports Consult, the agency that facilitated her move to Israel, opening a new chapter in her career after working for a side in the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Women’s Division.
The midfielder overcame a long-term injury lay-off to return to action for Cabfix Ladies in the 2025/26 season and helped the club finish third in the league despite a short spell following his recovery. Her contribution was appreciated when she was named the Cabfix Ladies Most Valuable Player on the final day of the competition.
He also helped them to a bronze medal at the 2026 Cheetah Cup in the pre-season ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Known for her powerful long-range goals and left-footed ability in midfield, Quaye established herself as an influential figure at Cabfix Ladies, serving as captain and instrumental in the club’s progress during her three-year journey.
Hanna was the first Cabfix Ladies player to receive a national team call-up when she was invited to Ghana’s U-20 women’s team for the 2025 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. However, injury forced him out of action before the end of the campaign.
In 2026, the club’s creative winger Jessica Benny represented Ghana at the CAF African Schools Football Championship in Zimbabwe, while goalkeeper Belinda Maku Aklie is currently part of Ghana’s squad at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
Quaye’s move to Bnot Tamra offers an opportunity to gain international experience, continue to develop his game and demonstrate his quality in Israeli football.
Her move is also a significant milestone for Cabfix Ladies as the former captain takes the next step in her career on the international stage.
