Barcelona are keeping a close eye on Chelsea prodigy Estevo due to his lack of regular game time under the manager Xabi Alonso the word.
The youngster joined the Blues from Palmeiras last summer and had a good debut season. He was expected to become a more prominent figure this campaign, but with the change of head coach, things are different.
Alonso has switched to a 3-4-2-1 system and does not believe Estevo has the defensive attributes to start at right-wing back. Pedro Neto So far, he has been a regular choice for the role of the Spanish tactician.
That situation may not change anytime soon, with reports suggesting Barcelona are keeping a close eye on his situation and could raid him in January or next summer.
Estevo has proven he can play on either side of the ball with ease. Barcelona may look at him as a possible solution on the left wing as they have Lamine Yamar as the undisputed starter on the right wing.
