Liverpool ready to step up interest in signing Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde When the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
Signing contract with Catalan giants Ronald Araujo Joined on loan from Blaugrana in the summer with an option to buy for around £55m.
This move raised a lot of eyebrows considering Araujo struggled for playing time at Barca at the end of last season.
Araujo is primarily a centre-back but has caught the eye with his performances at right-back for the Anfield giants.
If he continues to perform at the same level, Liverpool will undoubtedly trigger their option to buy him at the end of the season.
It has now been suggested that Liverpool could be keen to secure the services of Barca again in January.
Balde has completely fallen out of favor with the Spanish champions, but he could find a new lease of life at the Merseyside club.
Liverpool manager Anthony Iolara not entirely convinced Milos Kolquez First choice left back and looking to upgrade.
Balde will be a solid addition to the team as he has strong distribution ability and also has good defensive attributes.
