Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Real Betis winger Ez Abde after Xvicha Kvaratshelia suffered a serious knee injury. Barcelona could potentially earn €11m if the Moroccan is sold for €55m.
According to SPORT, the Ligue 1 champions are evaluating attacking reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window and Abde has emerged as one of the candidates being considered by Luis Enrique.

Notably, the Catalan club sold Abde to Betis in September 2023 but retained 20% of his future transfer rights, meaning any lucrative sale could give them significant financial support without a new contract.
PSG consider Abden as a replacement for the injured Kvaratskhelia
PSG’s interest in Abde came after Kvaratskhelia tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the Champions League match against Barcelona.
The Georgian winger is expected to be sidelined for several months, forcing the French champions to explore alternative options to strengthen their attack.

Abde, who could leave Real Betis in the summer, is among the players under consideration as Luis Enrique assesses his options for the winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old Moroccan winger’s profile makes him a candidate for the role, although interest from PSG does not mean a deal is imminent.
Real Betis request could give Barcelona 11 million euros
It is understood that Betis has little appetite to sell Abden cheaply.
During the summer transfer window, the Spanish club announced that they would not consider his departure for less than €55 million, a figure close to his €60 million release clause.

Barcelona’s financial interest stems from the agreement reached with Abde leaving the club in September 2023 for 7.5 million euros.
The Catalans have retained a 20% stake in the future transfer, giving them a financial incentive to follow developments despite no longer controlling the winger’s future.
So a sale for €55 million would net Barcelona around €11 million per deal, a figure that would be a significant return from a player who left the Camp Nou for a relatively modest fee.
The final amount Barcelona will receive will depend on the terms of any completed transaction and the exact exercise of the retained rights.
