All 17 Nigerian footballers train in Nizhny Novgorod


Nigeria is set to face Russia in an international friendly on October 6 at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. Before the game, it was known that 17 players took part in training. Nigeria have played two AFCON qualifiers as they recorded a 2-1 win over Madagascar, with the Super Eagles losing 3-0 to Group B side Guinea. Saturday’s 101-cap included Moses Simon, goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, defenders Benjamin Fredricks and Emmanuel Fernandez and forwards Kelechi Iheanacho and Akor Adams.
