Hearts of Oak shared a goalless draw held by Dreams, as did Vision and Golden Stars

Hearts of Oak struggled to a 0-0 draw with Dreams FC, while Vision FC failed to win at home after being held by Gold Stars SC in two Premier League matches on Saturdays.

The result leaves Hearts of Oak fourth in the table with eight points, but the Phobies have now gone three league matches without scoring. Dreams FC remain bottom with two points from five games and are yet to win this season.

Despite the lack of goals, the contest at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium was entertaining and tightly contested, with both teams creating chances.

Dreams came close in the first half when Mohammed Shaban sent a well-sized pass into Razak’s path. The striker failed to make the decisive connection and let Hearts of Oak escape after the hosts missed a crucial opportunity.

Hearts threatened before the break, but Rahman Osman, the goalkeeper of Dreams, made an important save to equalize the score.

After the break, neither side could hit the final point. With neither side progressing, the points were shared.

Vision is hosted by Golden Stars

Vision FC also failed to take advantage of the home support as they drew 0:0 with Gold Stars SC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.

Theme-based side Berekum were looking to build on their 1-1 away draw with Chelsea, but they couldn’t find a way past a resolute Golden Stars defence.

The point provides some comfort for Vision after a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to newly promoted Port City FC last weekend.

Vision remain in 9th place in the standings, while Golden Stars remain in the relegation zone after another tough result.
