Sander Berge (Fulham): It was a big game against Hull, top six and if Fulham lose I think they will go down. But they got the job done, and he was at the center of everything that was good for them.
Diego Gomez (Brighton): He scored from the halfway line, needless to say.
Pedro Neto (Chelsea): Two goals, Chelsea won the game. He’s one of those players where you look at him and think ‘he’s good, but I don’t know why he’s good’, but in this game he put it all together. With all the talk of Morgan Rogers, Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer, he could have a good season as these guys will draw the attention of defenders and Neto can come in with his speed at the back post.
Johan Manzambi (Aston Villa): Player of the month so far. An incredible young talent from Switzerland, at the age of 21, who carries this Aston Villa team, an aura and humility of “I want to learn and do more”, but also “I’m the man of this team, give me the ball, let me show you what I can do”.
James Maddison (Tottenham): Welcome back James Maddison. Spurs needed some quality in the final third and we weren’t sure who would score them and Maddison puts it into the top corner. Great to see him back, great to see him healthy and smiling.
