Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for a striker in January after a poor start to the Premier League campaign in front of goal.
ENIC chose to invest heavily during the summer transfer window and made a number of high-profile additions to the forward line, including Mykhaylo Mudryk, Savio and Omar Marmoush.
However, Gabi Agbonlahor Roberto De Zerbi said after the 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest that his attacking options left a lot to be desired: “Savio played 31 times in the Premier League and Champions League last season, contributing 1 goal and 2 assists.
“Mamouche, made 29 appearances in the Premier League and Champions League last season, scoring three goals. Don’t get me started. [Mathys] Call after the free kick. They don’t have that quality. “It’s OK to spend so much money on non-striker players that Manchester City rejected, what do you expect?”
The central area could be of particular concern for De Zerbi, with Dominic Solanke failing to score in his first five Premier League games of the season and Richarlison looking to leave the club.

Tottenham looking to sign Igor Matanovic in January
According to journalist Ben Jacobs in a report by GiveMeSport, Tottenham Hotspur are planning a January move for Freiburg forward Igor Matanovicconsidered signing the Croatian in the summer.
Jacobs said: “Tottenham are prepared to add another striker in the winter market if the goals continue to dry up. Richarlison does not appear to have a future at the Football Club and Roberto De Zerbi has made his place there clear. Despite the arrival of Malmouche, Igor Mantanovic and Tottenham could be one to look at, as I exclusively revealed in the summer that both Tottenham and Manchester United admire the player.”
“He’s big, he’s tall, he’s a target player and he’s a bit different to the forwards that Tottenham have, but there’s no guarantee there’s any possibility here in the middle of the season.”
The 23-year-old has made a strong start to the season for Freiburg, scoring six goals in seven games in all competitions while also providing two assists, with scouts praising his “excellent physical attributes” Jacek Kulig.
The Croatia international, who has scored 21 goals and six assists in 57 games for Freiburg and has now made 12 appearances for Freiburg, may now be ready for a move to the Premier League and could be the man to save Tottenham Hotspur’s season.
