The USA Men’s National Team neither moved up nor down in the latest FIFA Rankings.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side remain in 16th place at the end of the September-October window, Fifa announced on Wednesday. The USMNT completed a four-match schedule on Tuesday without losing over the past two weeks.
A 4-1 win over Peru on Sept. 26 opened the window before the Americans defeated Chile 4-2 three days later. Pochettino’s men finished the window by beating Mexico 3-0 and Canada 1-0 respectively.
Julian Hall led the way with three goals and one assist in four games, while Sebastian Berhalter had two goals and two assists. Justin Ellis also scored a pair of goals in his first USMNT appearances.
Thirteen players made their senior debuts in four matches, including Hall, Ellis, Kavan Sullivan, Mathis Albert and Brian Schwack. Schwake and Diego Kochen both recorded clean sheets in their first starts.
Mexico remains in 10th place in terms of the number of CONCACAF representatives. The USMNT completed the top six among CONCACAF nations, Canada, Panama, Costa Rica and Honduras.
The top four remained the same, led by Spain, Argentina, France and England. Portugal rose to 5th place, while Brazil and Morocco dropped in the Top 10.
The USMNT will next aim to improve their ranking in the November window when they face Haiti in the quarterfinals of the Nations League.
