The Newcastle United Women’s boss won the manager of the month award

Tanya Oktoby, the head coach of the women’s team of “Newcastle United” won the award of the best manager of the 2nd of September of the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Oxtoby’s side make the perfect start to their promotion campaign.

Only the champions of the second tier are guaranteed promotion to the Super League.

Tanya Oxtoby then guided her team to two more home wins, 4-1 against Sheffield United and 4-0 away to Leicester City.

That form continued into October and it was a perfect five league wins to start the season at the weekend, this time 3-0 away at Durham.

Newcastle United Women’s team have a good case so far to win the title and secure promotion.
