Sunday’s matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars got off to a chaotic start.
Including a pair of throws.
After the Eagles punted and punted, Jacksonville returned the opening kickoff for an open touchdown.
But that was wiped out due to a penalty on the Jaguars, and that’s when the frenzy began. A battle broke out in the midfield and two players – Philadelphia’s Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Bryan Thomas Jr. of Jacksonville. – both were fired.
You can see some of the fight and what followed in these clips:

Here’s a picture of Trotter leaving the pitch:
Although Trotter was ejected early in the game, it wasn’t the earliest game for an Eagles player in team history.
This is a sign set by his father, who was ejected before a game against the Atlanta Falcons in 2005:
You can imagine emotions were high on the Philadelphia side of the field. With the Eagles coming off a pair of losses and sitting at 2-2 and without both Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith due to injury, Philadelphia needs a win.
