‘Send this to Rob and Ryan’ – Fans were left in awe this week with a new video showing what Wrexham’s rebuilt stadium will look like.

Bondibot, which has 88,300 subscribers, produced a five-minute clip showing what could be happening at the racecourse in the near future.

Featuring an animation imagining a 3D reconstruction of the building, Bundybote said: “Could the racecourse become one of the most iconic modern venues in British football?

“In this video we imagine a complete and complete redevelopment of Wrexham AFC’s historic home. We’ll look at how a complete revamp of the Kop, Wrexham Beer Stand, Macron Stand and College End could take the stadium’s seating capacity well beyond 30,000.

“Examine the design, see how it fits into the surrounding community and tell us: is this a valuable fort for Wrexham in the top flight?”

@MattG824824: marvelous. Absolutely love it. Is it weird that I feel sad inside thinking about everything getting bigger and more commercialized, with more and more tourists coming from all over the world? I just hope we never lose the authenticity of Wrexham

@mox_wxm: Love what you did with the mold road frame! But you’re missing a tip from the beer stand. There’s no way that apartment building in the back will be there in five years. The club will buy it and demolish it to make way for 10,000 seats on that side of the stadium. The remaining apartment blocks (nearest Crispin Lane) will be converted into offices or hotels. But the aesthetic sense is great!

@kevindavies-dr1zi:The lawn needs moving, period. Before anyone gets too arrogant about history, blah blah blah, it can now be easily removed and moved in one piece to a more suitable location nearby. I was born 300 yards from the racecourse on the golf course and lived within 4 miles of it for the next 54 years, so I know the sentiment towards The Turf. What if it moved to where the new Wrexham Brewery plans to move to, or even just moved slightly closer to town, perhaps to the corner of Crispin Lane/Mold Road and it would still be the same pub with all the history? All I know is that it was a huge hit in the process of making Mold Road into something bigger. I know you can put up bleachers on the lawn, but you can’t block out all the light
