We were just saying that PSG have been quite lucky in terms of injuries during this extended international break.

It’s just our luck. A few hours later we got word that Ferran Torres had a problem playing for his country this week.

The Spanish Football Federation has just announced that the striker has left the camp due to pain in his left ankle. That pain “didn’t stop me from training and playing at first.” However, “given the persistence of symptoms, it was decided to withdraw the player to prioritize his recovery.”

It doesn’t sound too bad and a week off will probably suit PSG’s next game at home to Le Mans next Saturday.

It would be a blow to lose Torres, who has already made a red-hot start to life in Paris this season with 7 goals in 6 games.
