Lazio are preparing to say goodbye to defender Patrick, with reports suggesting he is in talks to terminate his contract, with Mario Balotelli’s Al-Ittifaq waiting in the wings.
The 33-year-old has been with the Blue Eagles for more than a decade since joining from Barcelona B in 2015.
He played 244 games for the club, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists, receiving 5 red cards during this period.
Patrick’s Lazio adventure ends
Patrick has not featured for Lazio so far this season due to a muscle injury and it looks like his final game is over.
Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà Negotiations insisting both parties agree to terminate the contract are at an advanced stage.
Regardless, it will only last until June 2027, so the experience will be shortened.
The Spanish defender is then free to sign with Emirates First Division side Al-Ittifaq, who already boast the likes of Mario Balotelli, Douglas Costa and Daniele Basili.
