The NFL returns to Week 6 as the playoff picture slowly begins to take shape. The playoff push is approaching Thanksgiving, but we’re starting to see teams position themselves for a run or reach a point where a rebuild may be in order.
Some unexpected contenders include the Raiders and Browns in the AFC and the Giants in the NFC. The 49ers, Chiefs and Vikings sit undefeated and in good standing heading into Week 6. On the other hand, the Texans and Chargers battle it out in the AFC, while the Buccaneers, Cowboys, Eagles, and Rams battle it out in the NFC.
This week opens with an important interconference matchup between the Seahawks and the Broncos Thursday night football. Sunday brings Ravens-Browns and Bills-Raiders with some unexpected early playoff results. The week closes with Cowboys-Packers Sunday Night Football and Commanders-49s Monday night football. This week’s flags include the Bengals, Dolphins, Lions and Vikings.
I’m back for another week of picks because I’m completely average. Last week I went 7-7-1 and stayed solid at .500. I went 2-1 on high-confidence picks and 3-0-1 on mid-range picks, but 2-6 on low-confidence picks sunk me.
I want to remind you that I pick straight games with winners and losers, but I also provide a level of confidence. I will pick the winner of each game and rank the picks based on confidence level – high, medium, low and no. A game with three asterisks (***) after it indicates the game where I have selected the bettor to win. Whether or not you need to set trust points, this will help me know where I stand with the options. And within each group, I ordered them based on confidence level.
Also, I’m a 49ers fan, so you have to take this pick every week with a grain of salt.
