No Juventus or Milan players featured in Roberto Mancini’s first four games in charge of Italy, with the coach instead leaning on Inter and Atalanta.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Mancini used 23 players drawn from 17 different clubs in the four Nations League games of the extended international break.
Inter and Atalanta had three players each, which was the only real block on the side. Counting by their parent club, both have moved up to four, with Davide Frattes at Lazio on loan from Inter and Daniel Maldini at Cagliari from Atalanta.

Under the leadership of Mancini, “Juventus” and “Milan” missed Italy
Thirteen clubs contributed one player each, and neither Juventus nor Milan were among them. Cagliari and Napoli had two, although Giovanni Di Lorenzo is losing out to right-back Michael Kayode.
Atalanta’s existence may also be short-lived. Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca are fighting for the same position, Giorgio Scalvini and Gianluca Mancini are fighting for a place and Raspadori has left the camp injured.
Captain Gianluigi Donnarumma was the only one to feature in all four games. Alessandro Bastoni, Sandro Tonali and Pio Esposito each made three starts, while Mohamed Ali Zoma was the only player used off the bench.
