Manchester City star Phil Foden relished the chance to prank Manchester United fans as he left Old Trafford today.
Foden may have been sent off in the Manchester derby, but he was clearly still very happy with life after the game as his team won 1-0.
Erling Haaland scored the second-half winner and, although experts thought it was definitely offside, it ensured three points for City’s ten men.
No wonder Foden was visibly feeling a bit smug after the game, making a 1-0 gesture to the Manchester United fans as he left the pitch…

No doubt City fans will love this as they will know what the derby means to a local lad like Foden.
Manchester United perform poorly against ten-man City
City deserved this win and they may well find it more comfortable if they can play with 11 men for longer.

But in the end, United were unable to capitalize on their chance after Foden was sent off in the 23rd minute.
MUFC do paint a timid picture of themselves and there are perhaps worrying signs under Michael Carrick’s management.
Many fans and pundits have questioned how well Carrick will perform this season, even though he got off to a strong start as interim head coach last season.
United will now be under more pressure and have more games to deal with as their good form at the end of last season saw them qualify for the Champions League.
By this point, Manchester United fans would have been hoping to see more clear tactical signs emerge, but that did not happen today.
