Paris Saint-Germain proved their mentality in their 3-1 comeback win over Strasbourg, says Luis Enrique.
Two-time European champions PSG fell behind to Giovanni Reyna’s effort in the 17th minute at the Stade de la Meinau.
However, a late turnaround ensured a dramatic win, with Illiya Zabarnyi’s 77th-minute equalizer paving the way for substitute Ousmane Dembele and Desiree Doue, who had earlier missed a penalty, to secure the three points.
PSG have now won their last six games in all competitions. Only Barcelona, who will face Luis Enrique’s side in the Champions League on Tuesday, have a longer winning streak among teams from Europe’s top five leagues.
Luis Enrique was impressed by the mentality of his team.
“Teams playing against us have extra motivation and when you’re a player of a team like PSG it’s hard to manage,” he said.
“But I am happy. We expected that there would be difficulties, but we started the match positively. We needed that first goal to feel comfortable in the game.

“Instead, our opponents scored, which caused a loss of confidence and shaped the rest of the first half. But I think we took control of the match again in the second half and after putting in some fresh legs and using the quality we had on the bench, we won the match.
“Mentality is obviously important when you play a match like this. We need every player to win what we want to win and we have to be ready to fight in every match no matter the conditions.
“It was not easy for the few players to perform well during the game, but I think we showed our mentality. Obviously, there are still things we can improve, but we have to wait.”
Zabarnyi scored his first goal since September 2025, ending a 34-match scoreless streak in all competitions.
“We knew it would be difficult and we prepared for it. We showed our mentality once again,” the defender said.
“We conceded a goal but we didn’t stop playing. We created chances and still played our game and the most important thing is that we never give up.
“I’m glad I could score and give something back to the team.”
