Harry Kane expects to sign a new contract with Bayern Munich “in the next few days” after winning the Ballon d’Or last week.
The 33-year-old’s current deal is due to expire next summer after he signed a four-year deal when he left Tottenham in 2023.

There has been speculation over Kane’s future, with some wondering if he could return to the Premier League and attempt to chase down Alan Shearer’s all-time goalscoring record.
However, the England captain is now open to extending his stay at the Allianz Arena.
“I’d say it’s more of a (few) days,” Kane said at his press conference ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League match at Atletico Madrid.

“It’s been good conversations this weekend and today. I know I say we’re close, but right now we’re very close. Details are just details in every deal.

“A lot of the big things have been ironed out and we’re happy, but every deal has a lot of little things that go into it, little details that lawyers have to sort out in the end.
“So I’d say it’s more days than weeks. I hear the talks went well again today and hopefully we’ll be together to do something in the next few days.”
Kane scored 73 goals for club and country last season, while also winning two trophies in Germany and leading England to third place at the World Cup.
This ensured he won the Ballon d’Or as he became the first Englishman to claim the coveted award since Michael Owen in 2001.

Kane paraded the Ballon d’Or on Saturday but then missed a second-half penalty and hit the post as Bayern Munich drew 2-2 with Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund in their first match since last Monday’s awards ceremony.
“Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that I am extremely proud to be a Bayern Munich player,” Kane told the crowd before the game. “The support you’ve given me since arriving has been incredible.”
