Dwight Howard takes a big loss when he drops the asking price on his Georgia mansion

DHoward of Wight has dropped the asking price of his Georgia mansion by $1.6 million. Just two months after putting it back on the market for $14.5 million. The Suwanee property is now for sale for $12.9 million.

The price cut is steep, but that doesn’t mean Howard lost the property. He purchased the property in 2016 for $8.8 million, and his current asking price remains $4.1 million above that figure. This is before accounting for repairs, taxes, selling expenses or any final selling price.

Tom Brady’s former TV fan, Ines Gomez Mont, was arrested on charges of fraud of $160 million.

Dwight Howard’s mansion is still listed above its original asking price

Howard first listed the home in January 2025 for $11.25 million. After failing to sell and being taken off the market, the property was relisted in September 2026 for $14.5 million and $3.25 million above the original asking price. The latest reduction brings it to $1.65 million from the original listing.

The property covers approximately 14 acres and includes a 26,233-square-foot home with 12 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms. Its amenities include a movie theater, saltwater pool, orchard, private lake and two-story fitness pavilion.

Howard bought the property the year he joined the Atlanta Hawks. The Atlanta native played 18 NBA seasons, earned eight All-Star selections and won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.

Described in listing as part of sale “A new page abroad” however, Howard did not publicly say why he was selling.

His recent basketball moves offer some context: After announcing his retirement in March, he signed with Kara Gala Tbilisi in Georgia and played two games before retiring again in October.

Howard also began pursuing a business degree, returning to school at age 40 in 2004 after going straight from high school to the NBA as the No. 1 overall pick.
