
Barcelona have held talks with representatives of Manchester United prodigy JJ Gabriel According to reporter reports, through free transfer Ben Jacobs.
Gabriel has decided to leave Manchester United next month. He recently asked the club to remove him from the team.
United have yet to meet his demands but they may not be able to keep him when he turns 16 in the second week of October.
The youngster could sign his first scholarship contract at the age of 16 and he is already in talks with some of Europe’s top clubs.
Gabriel has represented England’s youth teams but also holds an Irish passport, meaning he can join a foreign club before turning 18.
Barcelona have reportedly established contact with his entourage and remain optimistic about bringing him to the Nou Camp.
Real Madrid are also keen to secure his services and there could be further interest from Premier League sides in the coming weeks.
