RB Leipzig star and Norway international Antonio Nusa will join Arsenal ahead of the January transfer window.
Arsenal will reportedly look at the transfer market after the injury suffered by Christos Tzolis. The Greece international was injured earlier this week while playing for his country in the Nations League.
Tzolis was one of four new additions to Mikel Arteta’s squad by Arsenal, who joined Bruno Guimaraes, Ezri Konsa and Illan Meslier in a £34m deal agreed with Club Brugge to move to the Emirates Stadium.
The forward has made an impressive start to life at Arsenal, but the Gunners will face a nervous wait to find out the full extent of the injury he suffered while on international duty.
Tzolis suffered a suspected injury earlier this week and football.london have reported that there is an expectation that he will be out for between 15 and 20 days as he recovers.
Arsenal are reluctant to give an exact time frame on when Tzolis will return to full fitness and will assess the forward when he returns to London Colney.
However, there are reports that Arsenal are already eyeing the transfer market to sign a player in the same position as Tzolis.
According to Fussball News, Arsenal expressed interest in signing RB Leipzig star Antonio Nusa ahead of the January transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also said to be in the race to sign the Norway international in the New Year, while Inter, Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan are also said to be interested in the Italian.

The report further claims that Arsenal are the strongest interest in signing Noosa and are believed to have already put together a first offer which would be in the region of €40m (£34m).
Arsenal have been heavily linked with another forward signing in the summer despite adding Tzolis to their squad.
Following the departures of Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli, the Gunners have been linked with bringing in a wide forward, but have not made any further signings on the line.
It remains to be seen whether the interest in Noosa is genuine and, if so, whether Arsenal will extend the deal when the January transfer window opens.
