Adam Hose: The Worcestershire batter signs a new three-year deal with the Division Two club

Worcestershire winger Adam Hose has signed a new three-year deal to stay with the county until the end of the 2029 season.

The 34-year-old, who joined rivals Pears from Warwickshire ahead of the 2023 season, has scored more than 2,400 runs in 46 first-class games, featuring 96 times across all formats, and captained the T20 side halfway through this year’s competition.

Worcestershire finished fifth in the Second Division in 2026, Hose scored 638 runs with a century and 50-plus, spending six months recovering from a severe ankle injury sustained while playing for The Hundred in August 2025.

Hose has signed a three-year contract until the end of 2024, which will expire next summer.

“It was a very easy deal,” Hose told the Worcestershire website., external

“There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be setting our ground to be in Division One this time next year.

“In the white ball, we narrowly missed out on the quarter-finals this year. There is no reason why we shouldn’t be fighting for all three trophies.”

Head coach Alan Richardson said Hose was a “real asset” to the team, becoming one of its “most reliable and valuable figures”.

“He’s had a really tough and frustrating couple of years battling injuries, but the fact that he’s kept fighting says a lot and says a lot about his character,” Richardson said.

Hose is the second Worcestershire player to agree a new deal this month, after goalkeeper Gareth Roderick signed a contract until 2028.
