Scotland picked up their first three UEFA Nations League points of the campaign and their first win under new boss Sebastien Pocognoli as they beat North Macedonia 2-0.
Kieron Bowie put Scotland ahead in the seventh minute in Skopje before John McGinn converted a 20th-minute penalty to give the Tartan Army a morale-boosting victory.
But they had to see out the final minutes of the game with 10 men after Scott McKenna saw red for a challenge on Eljif Elmas.
However, it was a dominant display from Scotland on the occasion of captain Andy Robertson’s 100th cap.
The result leaves Scotland, who lost 2-1 to Switzerland, third in the table, level with second-placed Slovenia.
The Swiss maintained their perfect start to the group thanks to Eric Janza’s own goal and Dan Ndoye. Zan Vipotnik put Slovenia ahead in the first two minutes of the match.

Elsewhere, England had a brilliant win over Croatia, while world champions Spain extended their impressive unbeaten run against the Czech Republic.
Finland maintained their strong start to this season’s Nations League with a 2-1 win over Albania.
Ray Manaj gave Albania an early advantage before Etrit Berisha was given his marching orders midway through the first half.
Finland’s numerical advantage was key as Leo Valta’s goal gave Jacob Friis’ men all three points.
They are currently leading their group with 7 points from three games.
Meanwhile, Iceland defeated Bulgaria with a score of 3:0. Orri Oskarsson scored twice and Mikael Ellertsson scored the third in regulation time.
Belarus thrashed San Marino 4-0 thanks to goals from Artem Kontsevoi (2), Artem Shumanski and two from Max Ebong, while Estonia got the better of Luxembourg courtesy of Rasmus Peetson’s only goal of the game after five minutes.
