Spurs were yet to score in the Premier League before Saturday’s 3-2 home loss to Aston Villa and could face another relegation battle as Coventry City’s 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest saw them drop to 19th.
Roberto De Zerbi’s job reportedly safe for now Fabrizio Romanowho said: “So, as of today, the message from Tottenham remains one of confidence in Roberto De Zerbi.
“So at the moment I don’t have any indication that Tottenham are exploring a different approach. I’m told that Tottenham still believe in the manager. As Romano pointed out, spending huge sums of money in the transfer market will not necessarily solve Tottenham’s problems, but they are now considering expensive additions to the squad ahead of the January transfer window.
Tottenham could move for Morgan Gibbs-White in January
Tottenham Hotspur have now set their sights on the 26-year-old after coming close to signing Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White in the 2025 summer transfer window, according to Football Insider .

“It shows how much confidence Forest have in him and how important he is to their future plans. I’m sure Tottenham are still interested in Gibbs-White.”
