Tottenham fans are all saying the same thing after De Zerbi’s squad photo

Tottenham have released official team photos for their men’s and women’s squads, and it’s got supporters talking.

A photo of Tottenham’s squad for the 2026/27 season has got fans talking as several faces in the squad arrive.

Spurs have released images and a behind-the-scenes video of the men’s and women’s teams coming together for a big first-team photo. Afterwards, both Roberto De Zerbi and Martin Ho’s players posed for individual team photos and the men talked supporters through their 10 new summer arrivals.

First up was Richarlison’s appearance in last month’s lineup before the national break. The Brazilian was left out of De Zerbi’s Premier League squad for several months after Tottenham exceeded their cap on non-domestic players, and he was left out of Italy’s Carabao Cup squad to face Liverpool as he exited the competition at Anfield.

However, the 29-year-old, who was the club’s top goalscorer last season, is still in the first team despite attempts to secure his transfer in the summer, with Everton and Vasco Da Gama rejected by the Brazilian. As such, he took his place in the pictures alongside many of the club’s injured stars such as Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert, summer arrival Mykhailo Mudryk and the returning Dejan Kulusevski.

With captain Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro in the front row of the squad picture, the captaincy group around De Zerbi flanks the coach with James Maddison, Ben Davies and Archie Gray on either side.

Most exciting for Spurs fans was Luke Williams-Barnett’s inclusion in the team photo. The England U19 international, who turns 18 on Thursday, is one of the brightest talents in the club’s academy and has featured twice for Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.

The squad picture suggests that the attacking midfielder’s Premier League debut is not far away as he is now considered part of the first team squad rather than just a rising player for the U21s. Apart from goalkeeper Brandon Austin, Williams-Barnett is the only academy player in the first team squad and the teenager will be hoping to really make his name in the coming months.
