It’s been an exciting weekend of Premier League football and it culminates with tonight’s MNF proposition between Coventry and Newcastle, our Tip of the Day focus on that game.
The Sky Blues picked up their first win before the international break with a 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest, which should restore their confidence after some shaky performances on their return to the top flight.
“Newcastle” has collected more points than their performances warrant. The key indicators are that Matthias Jaissle’s men have been lucky so far and this should be a fairly even contest between two sides whose main aim is to stay in the Premier League.
While we don’t think it will be a goal fest, both teams should score and both will have enough advantage to earn a yellow card.
Much of Newcastle’s attacking threat comes from Harvey Barnes and we want the former Leicester winger to have at least one shot on target. He has done so in each of Newcastle’s last three games.
