Tottenham Hotspur have the opportunity to win four Premier League games in a row for the first time since October 2023 when they face Leeds United this weekend.
Savio could be available for selection ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s clash against Leeds United. The Lilywhites winger has missed each of his last three Premier League games through injury, having picked up a muscle problem during last month’s draw with Manchester United.
After a short spell, Savio finally returned to action at Hotspur Way. On Tuesday evening, the Brazil international uploaded several photos of himself surrounded by his teammates as they tied their boots in the dressing room at the training ground.
Unlike Mateus Fernandes alongside him and Jan Paul van Hecke in the background, Savio was not wearing boots. Instead, he wore lace-up running trainers, suggesting he was either absent from a first-team meeting or perhaps working out privately on the grass.
The 22-year-old, who the Lilywhites signed from Manchester City for an initial fee of £75m, plus £10m in performance-based add-ons, looked delighted to be back at a side full to the brim.

Right now, it’s unclear when Savio will be ready to run for re-election, but he’s one step closer to a full recovery. Speaking to reporters ahead of last month’s win over Coventry City, Roberto De Zerbi gave an update on the winger.
“Savio, unfortunately, before we went to Marbella on Tuesday he felt a muscle problem and we lost him for a couple of weeks unfortunately,” said the Tottenham boss. “I don’t know [how long he’ll be sidelined]but it’s been a few weeks.”
Asked for another update ahead of the win against Crystal Palace, De Zerbi confirmed Savio remains “injured”. The Italian is expected to shed light on the Brazilian’s condition when he faces the press on Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, De Zerbi is happy to turn performances into points in the Premier League table. In his statement to journalists at the weekend, he said: “I think we were playing well even before the national break.
“Maybe we weren’t there for 90 minutes, but we played very well in many parts of that game. We didn’t score, we conceded a stupid goal, then we lost energy, we lost spirit, we lost the right unity between the players.
“If we compare Tottenham before the national break and Tottenham after the national break, now we are playing as a team. Before the national break, we were playing as many good players, but not as a team.”
De Zerbi, however, unwilling to get upset, added: “We can’t forget, as I told the players before the game and at half-time, we can’t forget where we were two weeks ago.
“Two weeks ago, before the Coventry game, we were bottom of the table and we can’t forget. I think that’s a crucial part, a crucial aspect for this team.
“Then, to play freely, to enjoy the ball, to attack a lot of players, it’s not a problem – but we can’t forget where we were two weeks ago…”
