Cam Little made a 57-yard field goal as time expired to give the Jacksonville Jaguars a 19-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in a dramatic finish at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw a 27-yard strike to Parker Washington on fourth down to give them a 16-14 lead with less than four minutes remaining, and when they forced the Eagles to punt with two minutes left, victory seemed all but safe.
But when Jalen Hurts led the Eagles 32 yards down the field on nine plays and Jake Elliott set up a 48-yard field goal with 12 seconds left, a packed Eagles crowd celebrated what looked like a 17-16 Philadelphia victory in London.
However, those 12 seconds were enough for Ameer Abdullah to dazzle the stadium with a 53-yard kickoff return before Little kicked the game-winner as time expired.
The Jags move to 4-1 on the season and look every bit a Super Bowl contender after Lawrence’s stellar performance.
After a tumultuous season filled with injuries and disappointments thus far, the Eagles have fallen to 2-3.
