Napoli will be without David Neresse for this weekend’s trip to Venice after the Brazilian picked up a muscle problem.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb , the winger came off the bench in the second half of Tuesday’s 3-1 Champions League defeat to Villarreal and has since felt muscle discomfort. The extent of the problem is still unclear and Napoli’s medical staff are still assessing it.
The club did not refer to Neres in its training report on Thursday, but he will not be involved in Penzo.

Allegri brings Anguissa, Olivera and Alisson back to the Napoli team
It is yet another setback for Massimiliano Allegri, whose side have lost four of their first eight competitive games, their worst start in 17 years.
There is better news elsewhere. Frank Anguissa, Matias Olivera and Alisson Santos are back in full training and fit, while Favasuli and Vergara are out until late November.
Allegri is considering changes, with Kevin De Bruyne expected to start on the bench and Lorenzo Lucca looking to replace Rasmus Hojlund up front.
Venice is bottom of the table without points and will be led by new coach Davide Nicolai for the first time.
