Asante Kotoko and league leaders Medeama SC played out a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The first quarter of the game was mostly dominated by the home team, creating the most chances but failing to score.
The pendulum swung in favor of the visitors who took the lead through Safianu Usman in the 42nd minute and the visitors took a 1-0 lead into the break.
Five minutes after the break, Musah Hamzata restored parity for the home side with a powerful header that was just beyond the reach of Medeama SC goalkeeper Felix Kyei.
The goal gave the hosts the lead in the process, but they were unable to capitalize on the unfortunate result.
Kotoko Berekum will travel to Golden City Park to play Chelsea while Swedru All Blacks will face Medeama at Tarkwa TnA Park.
