Liverpool still have a lot of work to do in their first team squad.
Although they have lost all competitions until last Sunday, a change is still needed.
Admittedly, the fact Bradley Barkola scored a hat-trick against LASK Tuesday will help improve his game, but there are still plenty of other areas in their lineup that need to be sorted.

This was most evident last season when the Anfield outfit finished fifth in the Premier League a season after winning the title.
But as important as Liverpool’s attack is, other areas of their squad are now lagging behind.
But luckily for the Reds, they appear to have been given the green light to sign one of their long-term targets.
Arsenal are looking to land Kim Min-Jae, who could divert their attention from Jarell Guansah
There was widespread talk in the summer of Liverpool signing a player who could be used as a centre-back or right-back.
Because, in recent times, the right wing defender was one of the main problems of Liverpool Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones often have to be replaced at fullback Due to the absence of Conor Bradley and Jeremie Frimpong.

Both right-backs have spent more time at Liverpool than they have in recent times, with Ronald Araujo brought in as a full-back.
The deal for Araujo is a season-long loan with a £47m option to buy at the end of the season.
But before the transfer of the Uruguayan was confirmed Jarell Guansah was related to the return.
Liverpool included a two-year buy-back clause when they sold the England international to Bayer Leverkusen last term, and fans have been waiting for Liverpool to activate it with the World Cup underway.
That obviously never happened, resulting in the Reds missing out on a fullback. This sparked the interest of Arsenal, who then enquired.

Again, Guansah did not join them, but Liverpool and Arsenal’s interest in the Englishman is well documented.
But thanks to Christian Falk’s latest renewal, the Gunners could give Andoni Iraola a free run to bring the Liverpool academy graduate back to L4.
“Arsenal are interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae in the January transfer window,” he said.
“The Gunners signed Ezri Konsa during the summer transfer window, while William Saliba is also reportedly close to returning to full fitness.
“The north London club could still be in the market for a new centre-back in January, partly because of Piero Hincapie’s injury.

Christian Falk told CFBayern Insider that the Gunners are considering Kim Min-jae as a potential defensive option.
“Although Bayern have no intention of selling him, the Bavarian giants could still consider an offer for the right price.
Jarell Guansah returning to Liverpool could be huge for them
Liverpool’s defense was improved in the summer.
As mentioned, Araujo was brought in and although it took a few games for him to become a regular in Iraola’s plans, he has now become one of the first names on the Reds’ team sheet.
He has made the right-back position his own with the Reds’ fan base all clamoring for him to be offered a permanent deal to join the club.

However, the future of Virgil van Dijk is still uncertain and other members of the Liverpool squad, such as Giovanni Leoni, are somewhat weakened at the back until the end of the season, unless they return from injury.
So it could be massive for Liverpool to target another centre-back like Guansah.
The fact that their buy-back clause is worth around £50m would also make the deal an absolute bargain for the Englishman.
He would also qualify as a native, which as everyone knows is one of the main problems facing Liverpool at the moment.
We hope the deal for Guansah will be confirmed and Liverpool will be allowed to return the academy graduate.
