KC Concepcion Nominated for Outstanding NFL Award

The Cleveland Browns worked hard during the NFL draft and walked away with some promising, strong rookies. So far, those youngsters have proven to be worthy additions to the team.

One rookie in particular is talking a lot: wide receiver KC Concepcion. For his hard work and great productivity, Concepcion is now a Rookie of the Week candidate.

The team jumped on social media to celebrate their future star.

“This is our guy; vote KC for @nfl Rookie of the Week!” Browns published.

Concepcion was nominated along with Omar Cooper of the New York Jets, Caleb Douglas of the Miami Dolphins and Kendall Daniels of the Atlanta Falcons. Fans can now vote for the winner, who will be announced on Thursday.

Concepcion has been a standout throughout the season, especially in the Browns’ final game against the Tennessee Titans. He was a key part of the team’s 27-24 victory.

Sunday was his best day yet, and the rookie had eight catches for 129 yards, all of which came in the first half of the game. He also had three carries for 23 yards, showing he can get past almost any type of defender.

Concepcion may have had a wild game on Sunday, but the youngster felt he was set up for such a moment. He has demonstrated his confidence and self-belief time and time again. He wants and believes he can be a crucial part of the Browns’ lineup.

The better he plays, the more responsibility he will receive. He is building a strong working relationship with quarterback Deshaun Watson, and he will continue to develop that in the coming weeks. The Browns have a lot of great young stars on their roster and a lot to be excited about.

Concepcion isn’t the only success story to come out of this year’s draft, but he may be the biggest.
