Juventus ended the 2026 summer transfer window without selling any first-team players on permanent deals, reportedly the first time this has happened in the club’s modern history.
The Bianconeri have restructured their squad with nine arrivals and 11 departures, none of which involved permanent transfers of senior players.

The remaining seven players – Lois Openda, Jonathan David, Michele Di Gregorio, Joao Mario, Jonas Rui, Vasily Adzic and Fabio Miretti – are all out on loan. Some of the deals include purchase options that won’t activate until 2027, while others are temporary moves.

Luciano Spalletti believes that reinforcements at the center are particularly urgent after Vlahovic leaves for free. Juventus responded by adding three new options to that area of the squad during the transfer window.

This summer’s departures include free exits, mutually agreed contract terminations and seven loan spells rather than a permanent sale. Future decisions are still pending on some of these loan facilities, as some include purchase options that cannot be activated until 2027.
As a result, Juventus has three new centre-forwards, a creative attacking player, a midfielder, two defenders and two goalkeepers this season. Vlahovic’s exit also removes his salary from the club’s books, and the incoming squad represents a significant reshaping of Spalletti’s existing squad.
