Germany 2026 World Cup home kit leaked – inspired by the iconic 1990 kit

Germany’s 2026 World Cup home jersey has leaked online and pays homage to one of the country’s most popular designs.

in the pictures shared football headlines, Adidas has launched a retro jersey that is very similar to the one worn by West Germany when they lifted the trophy in 1990.

In keeping with tradition, the jersey is predominantly white, with black Adidas shoulder stripes and red and black cuff trim. But the standout feature is the flag-inspired pattern: black, red and yellow stripes run diagonally from each shoulder, meeting in the middle to form a striking V-shaped diamond pattern on the chest.



This is undoubtedly a nod to the 1990 World Cup winning jersey, which featured a similar design, although this version had the stripes off-centre.

Other details include four stars above the DFB crest, each bearing the year Germany won the title – 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014 – along with black shorts and white socks to complete the kit.
