A Bristol man has been jailed for 12 weeks for his role in violence that broke out between Bristol City and Swansea City fans in February. There was trouble during the game, with objects thrown by fans from both sides, and further trouble after the game, with three police officers requiring medical attention and a dog injured. Ryan Greenslade was the first person to be punished for his role in the violence, receiving a six-year ban from English football after he admitted causing fear or provoking violence.

Birmingham City were docked nine points for breaching the EFL’s version of FFP rules and dropped from 13th to 18th in the Championship. Frey reveals he almost died
Former France goalkeeper Sebastien Frey has revealed he was close to death after contracting the virus. Paris Saint-Germain loses plot
PSG has denied any evidence of fan misconduct despite a group of supporters being refused access to a Women’s Champions League match between PSG and Chelsea after they were found with knuckle dusters, fireworks and Class A drugs. Some fans have been banned from attending men’s and youth soccer matches due to repeated incidents of violence. Fans were refused access to the game after police were called due to vandalism on the pitch. A door at the stadium was broken down and part of the door was painted with graffiti in support of PSG. Despite this, PSG insisted that their fans were innocent, saying: “We express our fullest support to the PSG fans. The local authorities have provided no evidence of wrongdoing, at least no facts to justify a ban on attending the match. All our supporters were searched and if any of these searches or facts are subject to criminal law, we can imagine that the relevant support Holders won’t be able to leave British soil with confidence. I don’t expect PSG fans to attend as they are known to make Millwall look like a bunch of friendly invitees at worst. I’m just waiting for the next statement which will no doubt blame Adrien Rabiot in some way. It’s nice to see UEFA move quickly on the matter though, confirming immediately that they won’t be taking action.
Beardsley charged with racist language
Former Newcastle United player and Under-23s coach Peter Beardsley has “categorically denied” that he used racist language after the Football Association accused him of three counts of using racist language towards players while he was a coach. The FA said: “It is alleged that Mr Beardsley used abusive and/or insulting words towards their manager while he was a player at Newcastle United Under-23s, in breach of FA Rule E3(1). It is further alleged that the words also constituted a ‘serious breach’ as defined in FA Rule E3(2) as they included references to racial origin and/or colour and/or race and/or national origin. The allegations were dismissed but Newcastle’s recent investigation found no evidence of any infringement.” It Out were upset by the findings and they have repeatedly asked the club to be transparent about the findings.
Neymar charged by UEFA
I’m sure PSG will claim there’s no evidence of any wrongdoing on his part, but their star Neymar has been accused of “insulting behavior toward match officials” over comments the Brazilian crybaby made on social media after Manchester United kicked PSG out of the Champions League. Neymar, who missed the game because he was on holiday, er sorry, I mean injured, hit out at United’s decision to award a penalty as he has never received a penalty in his career that he didn’t deserve, calling it a “disgrace” and saying “there was no penalty. How could it have been a handball when it hit him on the back! To be fair, he probably did have a point in that last statement, although I do think Know who said it to him first because he clearly didn’t have enough intelligence to think about this on his own! Come to think of it, I think I have PSG’s defense and they will undoubtedly provide evidence that Adrien Rabiot hijacked Neymar’s account and posted this content and should now be banned from playing for life. Neymar’s innocence will be proven by the fact that he couldn’t type through tears looking at the screen after the game.
Missed due to injury
Eric Dier left the England squad after picking up an injury against the Czech Republic on Friday. After 26 minutes, Dier had to leave the field after treatment failed to heal the injury. He has now returned to Tottenham Hotspur to begin his recovery and will be unavailable for Monday’s game against Montenegro.

Juventus deny rape allegation has any impact on their pre-season plans
After traveling to the United States for pre-season and the International Champions Cup in consecutive summers, Juventus has denied that its decision to play in Asia this summer was influenced by the rape allegations against Cristiano Ronaldo in Las Vegas. Reports suggest tournament organizers, who have hosted three of Juventus’ last four matches in the United States, decided to keep the club away from the country to avoid the risk of Ronaldo being detained. Juve claimed the decision was taken purely to increase their exposure in the Far East and was not affected by the bad publicity the allegations could create.
