Sevilla inflicted more pain on La Liga’s struggling Valencia with a late 1-0 win to move up to third in La Liga.
Valencia beat Barcelona 5-0 in their last game, which left them bottom of the table.
Their defense was more effective at the Ramon Sánchez Pizjuan Stadium but Valencia could not avoid another defeat and Juan Iglesias scored to give the home side a point with nine minutes remaining.
Georgi Kocholashvili took a free kick from the left and Iglesias did well to get up and head home.
