During Canada’s 2-0 win in Montreal, Buchanan suffered a lower-body injury in a tackle with a Peruvian defender.
Larin returns to Southampton in the English Championship, while Buchanan returns to Villarreal of La Liga. Both players will be evaluated by their club teams.
