Chelsea’s struggle to find a long-term shirt sponsor has been well-documented and has been one of the most embarrassing failures of current ownership so far.
After years of failing on this front, we have low expectations. We came into this season without one and expected another campaign to go by without finding one until the USDC deal was announced last month.

USDC is evaluating Chelsea’s long-term offer
“It’s something we haven’t done before and we wanted to make it easier to understand what success looks like,” Kash Razzaggi told BBC Sport.
“But the intention is absolutely to be long-term.”
They would have to offer Chelsea an incredible amount of money to convince them – which is why previous short-term deals with DAMAC and Infinite Athlete have come to nothing long-term.
