Although Harry Kane, the captain of the English team, scored two goals, “Bayern” drew 3:3 with Norwegian representative “Viking” in the Champions League.
The home side were two minutes in front before Kane’s brace equalized and were 2-0 up at the break. Kane has now scored in his last 9 Champions League games.
Luis Diaz looked to have put Bayern on course for victory, but Michael Olise was then sent off for a second booking and substitute Herman Haugen equalized in the last minute.
It was more dramatic at San Siro, Inter Milan had 30 shots on goal but lost 4-3 to Club Brugge.
The 2010 winners saw captain Lautaro Martinez score twice, but Yann Sommer made nine saves against his former club and helped Nicolo Tresoldi to a famous victory with a hat-trick.
