Being a part of an NFL team is a great honor and usually the most memorable accomplishment a football player will have in their lifetime. However, it doesn’t come without its own form of provocation and banter.
The Cleveland Browns recently welcomed quarterback Justin Jefferson to the team in a very unique way. A video posted online shows the team enjoying wrapping Jefferson’s car in cellophane. Plus, they filled their ride with peanut butter.
To make matters worse and make this prank idea come true, they also took the tires off Jefferson’s car.
“Someone take the brother home,” he said on NFL on FOX.

The teenager jokingly smiled, his teammates laughed at him.
Jefferson has only been a part of the team for a few months after being drafted in the fifth round as the 149th overall pick. Since then, he has participated in the offseason with the Browns, participating in preseason activities and appearing in one game.
When Jefferson was added to the team, he was seen as someone who could help Cleveland’s problems against the pass rush in 2025. At six feet tall and 223 pounds, he can get in the way of many opponents.
Jefferson hasn’t done much in his short time with the Browns, at least so far. But this game and video evidence prove that the team brought him as one of their own. They wouldn’t pull a stunt like that on anyone. They clearly like the 23-year-old and are happy to have him on board.
Rookie pranks are not new. NFL teams have been doing this for generations. As annoying as it is, it’s a ritual for Jefferson, and he was probably happy to see it, because it officially means he’s part of the team.
Plus, it’s likely that the rest of the team helped him clean up the ridiculous mess they made.
