Troy Deeney’s Team of the Week: Henderson, Calafioui, Cherki, Justin

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): He makes a big block in the second half that would have made it 1-1 and that would have been a problem if the floodgates opened. He wasn’t known for his defensive prowess, but he was excellent.

Jefferson LermaCrystal palace): A central midfielder who plays at centre-back. He scored a goal, made a couple of big tackles and also managed to play at the back as a catalyst for Palace, so he goes in.

James Justin (Leeds): I know he loves playing against Arsenal, but his transformation from his time at Leicester to Leeds – his ability to play right-back, right-centre-back. Everything he gives you in this situation, he’s just a joke of a centre-back. I don’t believe he gets enough credit. It was an incredible goal and he could have scored more on the day.

Ethan Pinnock (Coventry): When I moved from Brentford to Coventry I thought it was dangerous for Coventry. He’s decent, but he doesn’t move the needle. How wrong was I? He’s been great. A big physical presence but also has the calming effect to talk others through games and you can see Coventry getting better week after week since he’s been in the team.

Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal): He is probably Arsenal’s best striker right now. Being in really good positions, defensively solid, also offers you more than just assists and goals.
