We’re two games into each League Division Series in the 2026 MLB playoffs, and the Brewers, White Sox and Rays are one win away from reaching the LCS. The White Sox and Rays took 2-0 ALDS leads on Monday night, downing the Guardians and Yankees, respectively. The Brewers, meanwhile, hold a 2-0 NLDS lead against the Padres and will go for the sweep on Tuesday.
The only LDS matchups tied by two games are the Dodgers and Braves. Atlanta closed out the series with a win in Game 2 on Sunday and will send Chris Sale home on the mound Tuesday with a commanding lead against the defending champs.
The White Sox improved to 4-0 in the postseason with Monday’s Game 2 win in Cleveland. All four of the White Sox’s playoff wins have come on the road, and they will play their first home game of this playoff stretch in Game 3 on Wednesday. The Yankees will head home trying to salvage their season, needing two wins in the Bronx to send the ALDS matchup back to Tampa.
The 12-team playoff field is down to eight as the Astros, Red Sox, Cubs and Phillies lost the best-of-three Wild Card Series last week.
